23rd August 2007 – EIBS is pleased to announce that Help the Hospices has recently chosen EasySite CMS to power a number of new sites that provide information, support and services to carers, hospices, health and social care professionals, patients and their families.
Founded in 1984, Help the Hospices is the national charity for the hospice movement providing support in many forms including training, education, information, grant-aid, advice and national fundraising events and activities. The charity also gives a voice to the interests, views and concerns of over 200 local charities who provide the majority of hospice care across the UK. They investigate issues, publish reports and briefings and advocate the cause of independent voluntary hospice care.
Help the Hospices selected EasySite CMS to build and maintain a collection of sites including their corporate website, an intranet and multiple micro sites. All sites will be managed using a single instance of EasySite allowing content to be shared across various sites.
It was imperative for Help the Hospices that their new CMS solution had the potential to integrate with their existing customer relationship management (CRM) system. Ascent CRM, from Ciber provides Help the Hospices with a centralised system for storing and managing information across their organisation. EIBS will provide a bespoke solution that enables a seamless integration between Ascent and EasySite CMS. This integration will ensure that Help the Hospices can fully utilise both systems across their organisation and on their websites creating a powerful tool for managing relationships with partner organisations.
