Leicester City Council website makes Top 20

EIBS wishes to congratulate Leicester City Council on being named one of the top local authority websites in the country.
 
The nation wide survey “Better Connected 2006” puts the Leicester City Council site in the top twenty of almost 550 local authority and other public sector websites.
 
Leicester City Council was cited as an example of good practice in a range of areas including local education authority content, job vacancy management and the developments it has made to adhere to the Government’s commitment to make all services available electronically by 2006.
 
Leicester City Council was the first of many progressive council to adopt EasySite™ CMS from content management provider EIBS. The ease of use and adaptability of EasySite™ CMS has allowed Leicester City Council to fully achieve the functionality and services that they aimed to provide to site visitors.
