StLaR is the Strategic Learning and Research Advisory Group formed jointly by the DoH and DfES in 2002. 
 
The purpose of StLaR HR is to encourage effective joint working and strategic planning across all learning and research issues in health and social care and central government and funder levels.

The Requirement

The main requirement of StLaR was to produce an online questionnaire which could be completed by various member of staff.

 

 

The Solution

StLaR chose EasySite content management system to manage and maintain their website. The solution enables non technical Users to create an unlimited number of pages and sections within the site.

The Result

StLaR have used the Form Builder functionality to create an online questionnaire using a variety of input options, for example, text box, drop down box, radio buttons etc. Once submitted the form is emailed to an administrator, a record of the form is also saved automatically onto the system.

 

 
Numerous staff members are now completing the questionnaire, including;
 
Staff from all NHS groups/professionals who have an education/research remit
Staff in the social care sector who have an education/research remit
Academic and research active staff in higher and/or further education involved in the education of NHS/social care students and staff
 
StLaR have also invested in the Discussion Board module to enable Users to share thoughts, ideas and knowledge with one another.
