EasySite is now being used to manage the website for the East Midlands Workforce Development Confederation, part of a new NHS initiative.
The Confederation is the focal point for bringing together employers charged with workforce development and will develop the capacity and capability of the local NHS workforce by working with health planners, employers, providers and users of health and social services, higher education institutions and all the professions to produce, sustain and develop a sufficient and competent workforce. The Confederation will seek to be in the vanguard of innovation and best practice and to work inclusively and collaboratively to achieve the objectives of its core business.
The web site, developed using the latest EasySite content management system, will contain a vast amount of information and functionality. Visitors to the site will be able to browse a database of regional events; post comments on the discussion board and search for documents and information relating to their profession. Content within the site is maintained by a variety of users, geographically spread throughout the region.
