The Requirement

After a review of their current website, Skills for Logistics felt that the content had outgrown the original website design and a revamp was needed.

Skills for Logistics wanted a new site that was more-user friendly, had increased functionality including search functionality and improved navigation. In addition the site needed to be re-designed to complement the corporate brand.

It was also key that the organisation could create multiple microsites within the main site but with a different look and feel. This would allow Skills for Logistics to create bespoke sections for other areas of the business.

The Solution

EasySite CMS was chosen due to its ease of use and because it gave Skills for Logistics the option to add specific functionality modules such as Discussion Board, Form Builder and Polling. In addition the new site was integrated with SalesForce, the organisation’s Customer Relationship Management system, enabling a two way process between visitors and the organisation.

 The Result

EasySite CMS allowed Skills for Logistics to create a site that met each of their original requirements. The redesigned site is now consistent with the organisation’s brand and in addition to improved navigation, a more sophisticated search functionality has made it easier for site visitors to access information such as industry research reports. Using EasySite CMS Skills for Logistics have also created a number of microsites to reflect the needs of different areas of the business.

The flexibility of EasySite means that Skills for Logistics can develop their site further in the future to increase interactivity with functionality such as Polling and Discussion Board.
