The South Suffolk Learning Community (SSLC), is an established network which aims to raise standards in schools as part of the NCSL initiative.
In Phase 2 of the project each school will go live with its own website where they can post information such as news, events, curricular resources, extra-curricular-activities and job advertisements.
“The community model offered by EIBS, which enables us to manage lots of websites within a single environment, met out needs exactly.” Said David Jones, Assistant Headmaster at Great Conrad Upper School and Technology College.
“We also needed a system that was both extremely flexible and very easy to use, as we're planning to let children write web pages themselves. The system has also surpassed our need in this respect, as it's easy enough for children to write their own pages and provides a holding facility so that an adult can approve them before they go live.”
