In October we hosted the 2011 Easysite User Conference at Covent Garden’s London
Transport Museum. As well as the usual EIBS faces presenting seminars about the
latest Easysite developments, delegates were treated to presentations from Easysite users across a broad range of sectors:
Government - East Riding of Yorkshire Council
Kevin Woodcock & Jonathan Hall at
East Riding of Yorkshire Council kicked off proceedings and proved themselves to be an entertaining and informative 'double-act' with a presentation and demonstration of their website redesign, how they built the MyEastRiding customer portal using the
Easysite API, intranet personalisation with
Easysite's Buildportal module and integration with the ESRI GIS system for interactive mapping.

Membership - National Association of Head Teachers
Next up, Jully Cully from the
National Association of Head Teachers demonstrated latest Easysite Search functionality which they are using to capture members search feedback which they then use for improving site content, as well as their use of the
Easysite eBooklets module to allow members to build their own PDF advice booklets from site content.

Magazine Publishing - Redactive New Media
Completing the customer presentations Jonathan Roberts from Redactive New Media gave an insight into their use of Easysite for managing frequently updated, news-based magazine websites such as
The Marketer and
Public Finance using Easysite in conjunction with WordPress.

As well as getting to sit in on some fantastic presentations
all delegates got a chance to explore the museum too! Thanks to everyone who came
along, we had a great day and hoped you all did too.
