Lantra sign new CMS deal with EIBS

Lantra

20th December 2006 – Lantra has recently selected EIBS and their content management system EasySite to manage a variety of sites. EasySite CMS will be used to power Lantra’s websites, extranets and corporate intranet.

Lantra is the Sector Skills Council for the environmental and land-based sector representing employers across 17 industries.  The organisation is licensed by the UK government to promote the importance of having a highly skilled and motivated workforce through training and business development.

James Cook, Lantra’s Interim IT manager said:  “Having investigated the market and undertaken a period of supported product evaluation, we concluded Easysite offered the ideal combination of ease of use and technical features that met all our requirements in a cost effective way.”

Using the Community version of EasySite CMS Lantra will be able to run an unlimited amount of websites from one version of the software. Lantra plan to use EasySite to power not only their corporate website www.lantra.co.uk, but also its two careers websites www.ajobin.com for young people and www.afuturein.com for adults and careers changers, as well as a selection of restricted access extranets for their users.

Lantra was able to personalise their solution by selecting from a library of module plugins. Modules including Form Builder, Mailing List and Directory Builder will allow Lantra to not only build information rich sites but also interact with site users via feedback forms and emails to customisable groups.

Bruce Groves, Head of Business Development for EIBS comments, “We are very glad that Lantra has chosen EasySite CMS to power their websites, intranet and extranet. We have helped many organisations meet their content management needs and we are looking forward to working closely with Lantra on their web projects”.
