3rd March, 2009 - EIBS would like to congratulate North East Derbyshire District Council for being amongst only eight local authorities, out of a total 424 surveyed, to be awarded the ‘Excellent’ ranking in the 2009 Better Connected annual survey of council websites. SOCTIM’s eleventh annual survey rates sites on extensive criteria ranging from usability and accessibility, quality and accuracy of web content using a ‘scenario’ based methodology to level of uptake in web 2.0 functionality. A warm congratulation goes out to all those individuals involved at North East Derbyshire District Council.
