17th July 2007 – EIBS LTD, one of the UK’s principle content management providers, is pleased to announce the launch of a new website that offers a range of advice on cancer related issues. The newly launched Cancer Advice website www.canceradvice.co.uk/, has been created to inform site visitors on the present state of knowledge of particular cancers and to highlight modern aspects of therapy.
Powered by EasySite CMS, the Cancer Advice website is an information site providing visitors with the latest developments across the field of cancer medicine. The site contains extensive information about the different types of cancer, covering aspects such as incidence, causes, diagnosis, treatment and outcomes. Visitors to the site can also learn more about current controversies and new developments with research findings and information on cancer related issues. Cancer Advice is managed by Dr Nick Plowman, one of London's leading oncologists, in partnership with Intuition Communication, one of the UK's leading publishers of healthcare information on the Internet
The Cancer Advice site provides an extensive library of information on the various types of cancers. For each type, site visitor can learn about a range of information including incidence, causes, symptoms, stages, diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, available support and current issues and research. Using EasySite’s powerful category engine the Cancer Advice site is able to further assists site visitors by displaying relevant information from other areas of the site. For each type of Cancer there is a current issue section that pulls in relevant issues from other areas of the site that pertain to that specific type of cancer. As well as cancer information the Cancer Advice site provides a full list of support organisations that can provide further information and support to both patients and their families. The site includes an detailed list of general support groups and also those specific to various types of cancer and to local communities.
