Archiving your content

Archive and relocate your articles automatically

Certain time-sensitive content (e.g. News Articles and Press Releases) frequently requires archiving when it is no longer current. EasySite provides automatic scheduling and archiving faciliites for such information and also allows the physical relocation of content from one area of the site to another on a given date. When setting the scheduling options for a page of content you can enter a relocation date – or period (e.g. after 30 days) and a target relocation page – beneath which the page will be relocated to when the relocation date arrives.

This allows, for example, a section of the website to contain 'current' Press Releases and another part of the website contain older, archived information.
