For legal accountability, backup and disaster recovery it's important to maintain strict version control over your site structure and content. EasySite™ CMS provides a simple but powerful interface to assist in the automatic archiving of previous versions of each content item and allowing rollback to a previous version when necessary.

EasySite™ CMS time and date stamps every content item on your site and gives you the ability to store within the database any number of previous versions. So when for example, an existing page is edited and published EasySite™ will increment the page version number automatically and the previous live version is instantly archived with all other previous versions. Should you need to roll back to a previous version the user need only to select the required version from the list of those available, compare it with the current version and restore it if desired.
