EasySite’s support for truly global CMS is now fully realised with the launch of our unique Localisation Engine.
In simple terms, this new technology enables ‘global’ content to be managed centrally and dispersed to any number of localised sites, in any language. In parallel to this, ‘local’ content can be managed and published at a local level, within a fully translated publishing environment. For the first time, this unique solution enables centralised control of key business information, whilst retaining the flexibility for local publishing of region specific content.
EasySite Localisation Engine
The newly launched localisation module powers global site creation with a unique central content repository system.
-
Central authors create site content using EasySite CMS - site content is stored in a central content repository.
-
Using page alternates, versions of a master page are created in other languages or with region specific information. Each page alternate has the same URL as the master page, however the alternate can have separate navigation labels, meta data and categories.
-
Page alternates are then shared with regional sites. Any changes made to master pages will automatically be updated on all regional sites.
-
Local authors can also add local content to their specific site using EasySite CMS.
