Give every page a meaningful, optimised address

You can choose to replace the EasySite automatically generated URL for any given page with a meaningful URL. By choosing suitable keywords for the meaningful URL your site will be much easier to ‘spider’ by indexing systems as well as the public. EasySite’s automatically generated (meaningful) URLs are based on the location of the content within the site structure – i.e. how they are nested. For example:

http://www.gosh.org/get-involved/challenge-events/jump/

is the URL for a page called Jump in the ‘challenge events’ sub-section of the ‘get involved’ section.

Shorten URL's to a single phrase - great for offline campaigns

EasySite’s URL shortcuts plug-in lets you further simplify any nested URL to a single word or phrase for example for the above page the customer has set up a shortcut: http://www.gosh.org/jump
