Add discussion forums to your site and communicate with your visitors

Letting your customers and staff talk to you and each other is an application ideally suited to a modern website and intranet.  That's why we developed the EasySite™ Discussion Forums module.

With the EasySite™ Discussion Forums modules you can create and manage as many forums as you need, you can plug a forum into anywhere on your site - on a single page or have an entire section devoted to forums.

Creating a Discussion forum

A discussion forum can be easily created and displayed on your website.  Simply allocate a title and description for the forum and decide what sort of forum you wish to have.  Choose whether the forum is to be public or private and whether it is to be moderated.  You can also decide whether to allow users of the forum to submit new topics.

To display the forum, the Discussion forum element is dropped on to the page template and configured.  If required, you can send an email to users when a new message is posted.

Moderating comments

When moderating comments the site administrator will be able to view all pending comments posted.  A comment will not be displayed on the forum until it has been approved.  Inappropriate comments can then be deleted if necessary.
